In his artworks, Dito Von Tease explores the realm of digital identity in a humorous fashion. Inspired by an Italian idiom about hiding behind a finger -- nascondersi dietro un dito – he uses a great deal of imagination to transform his pointer finger into celebrities from art and culture. The sensational series Ditology and his burlesque-sounding pseudonym both come from “dito,” the Italian word for “finger.” Although his literal and figurative fingerprints are plain to see in every piece, Dito Von Tease keeps his true identity a well-guarded secret.
