Daniel Raab

Daniel Raab

In August 2017, Daniel Raab became CEO of the Avenso Group, thereby taking the helm of LUMAS and its global network of 40 plus galleries. After positions at Gucci, Hermès and over six years as a Senior Manager at Amazon Germany, Raab was most recently the Managing Director of ProSiebenSat.1 Commerce GmbH and SevenVentures GmbH. With his extensive experience in ecommerce as well as offline premium retail, Raab is leading LUMAS in the next phase of its mission, The Liberation of Art.

Thomas Buhl

Thomas Buhl joined the Avenso Group team as COO in September 2017. After eleven years at Amazon Germany, he worked as an ecommerce consultant, advising the ProSiebenSat.1 interests Flaconi and Valmano as well as the Burda subsidiary Cyberport. With over two decades of experience in online business, business intelligence, and vendor & supply chain management, Buhl is now working with LUMAS to continue making the world of photography accessible to everyone who is interested in art.

Sabrina Flunkert

Sabrina Flunkert

Sabrina Flunkert has many years experience in the realm of finance and investment management. After working at UBS Investment Bank in London and Frankfurt, she moved to EQT Private Equity to focus on transactions and portfolio management in the medium-sized enterprise sector. In October 2017, Flunkert joined the Avenso GmbH Managing Directors as CFO, pursuing the goal of making premium quality photo art accessible to a wider audience.

Alexander Nieswandt

An Executive Partner in the Sander companies since 1994, trained photographer Alexander Nieswandt founded the specialist photo lab Icony Media GmbH in 2007 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Avenso GmbH. The lab that grew out of that – the renowned WhiteWall lab – is now available to all photographers who value the highest quality. Satisfied clients include the LUMAS galleries and LUMAS artists. As one of the managing directors at Avenso GmbH, Nieswandt supervises the Production, IT, and Customer Service departments.

The Founders

Stefanie Harig

Stefanie Harig

In 1995, Stefanie Harig founded a PR agency: Die Brücke Public Relations GmbH, which counted federal ministries, Mercedes-Benz, McKinsey & Company and Deutsche Bahn among its clients. After four years, she sold her stake to SMYLE GmbH to focus on her passion for architecture, art, and design and to work as an Interior Designer and Art Consultant. A passionate art collector, she founded LUMAS in 2003 to make high-quality editions affordable for young collectors and a broad, art-loving public.

Marc Alexander Ullrich

At 18 years of age, Marc Ullrich founded Rainbow Arts Software GmbH. Just a few years later, he sold the business and his shares in it to Softgold GmbH. In 1992, Ullrich became a member of the board of directors at ESCOM AG. In later work as a consultant, his clients included 1&1, HP/Compaq, and IBM. In 1997, he helped grow STRATO AG. After two years, he sold his shares and went on to livingNet AG, where he turned internet presences into professional marketing. As a founder of Avenso GmbH, he has made the world of photo art accessible to everyone who is excited about art.
