Our team, together with the LUMAS artists, chooses an appropriate frame and optimum mounting for every individual work. We feel the presentation of an artwork is part of the enjoyment of art. That's why we work together with experts. All LUMAS editions are developed as original prints by the specialist WhiteWall laboratory, and then framed and mounted.
Framing
All framing, by WhiteWall, is made to measure. The frames are solid wood and come in five colours, or are precisely manufactured from matt aluminium for each work. LUMAS offers two types of frame, the classic mat frame and the shadow gap frame without glass.
Mounting
WhiteWall also offers mounting as an alternative to framing. This is the process of permanently attaching the photograph to a Dibond aluminium panel with a special fixative, and then adding a protective coating (using the LUMABOND process) or an acrylic surface (using the LUMASEC process). The result is a modern, immediate presentation of the work.
